Potential Solutions

Water scarcity is a widespread problem in the Middle East. Our organization has been working to solve this issue since 2000, and we have made a good start. Some of our solutions include:

  •  Implementing new educational programs that educate the citizens about more efficiently conserving water.

  • Trying to improve relations between countries affected by the lack of water· Working together to build more efficient ways to conserve water that will overpower the major issues.

  • Transfer new, smaller and water conserving irrigation systems to the Middle East to help the water from being completely wasted due to large unnecessary irrigation systems.

  • Find other areas below the surface where ground water can be safely extracted, without damaging the water table levels or polluting the rivers and lakes.
